Our new LIVE Summer Series gives you the chance to hear from an array of professional staff members and our GPS students. This is a great opportunity to ask questions in real-time and get valuable information as you prepare for your new life as a 'Cane!

Watch a tutorial on how to navigate CaneLink, UM’s student portal. This session covers staying up to date with your To-Do Checklist, finding your financial aid and merit scholarship information, and accessing Academic information, like your schedule and academic advisor.

Have questions on how to register for the Fall? A GPS student walks you through where to find your school-specific registration instructions and how to add classes and to register on CaneLink.

A GPS member is joined by a member of the International Student and Scholar Services department to answer your most pressing questions. Watch as they do a walk-through of important next steps for incoming international students. 

Hear from current students as they tell you all about the student organizations, activities, and ways to connect. These opportunities are the foundation for what makes student life at the University of Miami special.

Located at the crossroads of the Americas, Miami has plenty of opportunities for cultural exploration and professional development. Discover the diverse neighborhoods, and hear from current students about their time in one of the most exciting cities in the world.
Hear from university departments about student support, campus resources, financial aid, and money management. This session includes representatives from ‘Canes Central, the Office of Student Financial Assistance and Employment, and the ‘Cane Success Center.

Watch a session that reviews steps to pay your tuition bill and options available to you and your family. A GPS Team member is joined by a professional ‘Canes Central advisor who helps answer your questions.
The university is excited for your arrival to campus! Hear from students and staff about move-in and ’Cane Kickoff Orientation. This will include representatives from Orientation and Commuter Student Involvement, and Housing and Residential Life.
